Jo was recommended to me a year ago and I have been training with her twice a week since then.
Being in my Forties and having been told by my Doctor of the increased difficulty of losing weight post 50 due to decreased metabolism, I decided that I needed to both lose weight and gain fitness more consistently than I had done previously in my 20s and 30s. In the years before Jo, I regularly started with good intentions (normally in January!), but would then lose enthusiasm and give up within 3 months of starting a new fitness regime.
Seeing Jo twice a week not only ensures I keep the routine going, but also means I have a professional guiding me on areas of strength, fitness and diet that I might not have considered otherwise. I personally believe Jo’s method of jointly agreeing goals with her clients and designing a strategy to reach those factoring individual preferences, lifestyle and work is a huge advantage over other Personal Trainers.
I have got to know Jo quite well over the last 12 months and know that she takes great pride and pleasure in seeing her clients improve their lifestyles, which is a great credit to her professionalism and personality.
Jo’s personality is kind, understanding and tenacious and in short, she has gone from being another Personal Trainer to a trusted friend who just happens to also keep me fit!
